Cape Verde has a new kit supplier for the World Cup 2026 It won't be Tempo Sport
The qualification of Cape Verde for the 2026 World Cup has been one of the most surprising stories of the past few weeks. In telling this story, we previously focused on the role of Tempo Sport, the Austrian clothing brand that had been serving as the national team’s kit supplier since 2022, crafting a fresh aesthetic through its match jerseys. However, at the World Cup, Cape Verde will not be wearing Tempo Sport, as the federation has announced a new technical sponsor.
Capelli Sport is Cape Verde’s new technical sponsor
For their historic first-ever World Cup appearance, Cape Verde will wear Capelli Sport, an American sportswear brand that has been steadily building its presence in football, with its most notable partnership to date being with Serbia. As stated in the official release, the deal signed between the Cape Verdean Football Federation and Capelli Sport will run for four years. In addition to match kits, the agreement includes training gear and travelwear collections. At the moment, the official jerseys that Cape Verde will debut at the World Cup have yet to be unveiled.
