Juventus bring back pink with the new 2026/27 Away jersey adidas celebrates the club's origins

Juventus and adidas have unveiled the club's new Away jersey for the 2026/27 season. A pink jersey that pays tribute to the club's origins: pink was in fact Juventus' first official color, worn between 1898 and 1901. At the time, the team played in a pink shirt paired with a black tie or bow tie and black shorts. These colors were chosen because they were the sporting colors of the Liceo d'Azeglio, the classical high school in Turin where the club was founded in 1897.

The switch to black and white came about more for practical reasons than aesthetic ones, as repeated washing caused the original pink shirts to fade over time. As a result, new jerseys were imported from the United Kingdom. Since one of Juventus' founding members was English and originally from Nottingham, the club received Notts County shirts featuring their iconic black-and-white vertical stripes. Even so, pink has made several comebacks over the years, and after appearing in the details of last season's Home jersey, it returns as the undisputed protagonist for the 2026/27 campaign.

The jersey features a soft pink base enhanced by a subtle engineered pattern inspired by zebra stripes, a powerful reference to the club's timeless symbol. In this case, the pattern echoes the design of the Juventus crest used between 1977 and 1982. The collar, sleeve cuffs and adidas Three Stripes running across the shoulders are finished in bold black, creating a striking contrast against the pink base. The redesigned collar construction delivers a clean, contemporary silhouette that balances elegance and performance. Completing the look, the Juventus crest is paired with adidas' iconic Trefoil logo.
