Juventus pay tribute to Gianluca Vialli with a special collection The old logo is also back for the occasion

Juventus has honored the memory of Gianluca Vialli by dedicating a special collection to the historic Bianconeri captain. The collection is characterized by a fusion of historical elements with modern aesthetic components linked to adidas, the brand behind the collection. The contemporary reference is, of course, the Teamgeist design, reintroduced this season by the German brand. It is featured on the hoodie, tracksuit, shorts, and t-shirt, always using a yellow detail on a blue background.

The color choice itself is a dive into the past, as it recalls the legendary blue jersey with yellow stars on the shoulders that Juventus wore during the Champions League final against Ajax in the 1995/96 season, with which Vialli was immortalized lifting the trophy after the penalty shootout victory. The second link to the past is the use of the old logo—the shield with vertical black and white stripes and yellow details—which was used until 2004. A choice that has been well received by fans, likely surprised by the club’s decision to set aside the stylized J logo, even if only for once.
