Coinciding with tennis week, this event offers a reinterpretation of traditional tennis, transforming it into a space for connection between different creative industries. Mini Open Tennis, your favorite artist’s favorite tournament, returns for its third consecutive year with its biggest edition yet, featuring key names from sport, culture, music, and fashion. On April 25, from 10:00 to 00:00, the Club Internacional de Tenis de Majadahonda will once again host one of Madrid’s most talked-about events. An experience that is practically a festival, placing the spotlight on community, lifestyle, and the visibility of contemporary urban culture.
Teams
Organized by Minishop, this third edition will feature 51 teams (up from 32 last year), made up not only of professional players but also celebrities, artists, creative collectives, brands, and media outlets. An amateur tournament where competition becomes a creative space for collective identity and a dynamic showcase of trends and aspirational worlds. Cultural agents from today’s scene will become elite tennis players in a day featuring names such as Primavera Sound, DICE, Códigonuevo, fffea, 25 Gramos, Lesbian Garros, Highxtar, Casa Axis, Out!, Heretics, Bagel, Habemus Roma, Casa Tabacos, Concept Hotel Group, LA LIGA Retro, and the Róisín Murphy Racquet Team. The international electropop star will not be the only singer present at this edition. As in every Mini Open Tennis edition, music plays a key role, with groups like Cupido, Por las noches, and the Mainline collective (Yung Prado, Daniel 2000) swapping the stage for the tennis court.
