MSCHF makes its debut in Italian football alongside Vicenza Where art meets football culture
MSCHF has entered the world of Italian football with an amazing and surprising collaboration with LR Vicenza, club backed by OTB Group and that earned promotion to Italy's Serie B from the third division. The Brooklyn-based art collective has blended the club's heritage with a new aesthetic dimension to create a unique capsule collection.
The slogan “Golf Sucks.” features on a limited run of jerseys, kits and accessories produced in collaboration with Hummel, the club’s kit supplier. The complete collection includes a flag, a cap, two scarves, a T-shirt, a hoodie, a jersey, and a pair of shorts. All of these items feature the brand new logo celebrating the partnership, which sees the iconic LR crest turned blue and accompanied by three exclamation marks in reference to MSCHF.
To further emphasise the concept, the shoot was recreated on a golf course, drawing a direct reference from MSCHF's widely publicised 2021 campaign. This unique approach is set to disrupt every conventional footballing paradigm, and is definitely going to set a new standard. Football meets art in its most provocative and innovative form. The capsule collection will be available online starting Friday, May 15, at 3:00 p.m. CEST on the LRV and Hummel websites, and on gameday Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. CEST at the official LRV store at the Vicenza stadium.
