AC Milan have unveiled their new Away jersey for the 2026/27 season, a kit that celebrates the 20th anniversary of one of the most iconic moments in the club's history: the 2007 UEFA Champions League triumph in Athens. The anniversary inspired the campaign claim "After Istanbul, comes Athens", a phrase that has become deeply rooted in the Rossoneri faithful's collective memory, symbolising the club's ability to bounce back from its most painful defeats. Istanbul inevitably recalls the 2005 Champions League final loss to Liverpool, while Athens represents the perfect redemption: two years later, Milan defeated the same opponents in the 2007 final to lift their seventh European Cup.
This narrative forms the foundation of the concept developed by PUMA for the new Away kit. White, a colour long associated with Milan's elegance and its greatest European nights, returns as the dominant shade to celebrate the bond between the club and the Champions League finals played in white. The jersey is enriched with a subtle tonal pattern inspired by the marble veins of ancient Greek temples, a clear tribute to the city of Athens and its historic heritage.
Gold accents and a laurel wreath surrounding the club crest complete the design, reinforcing the references to victory and classical tradition. Inside the crew neck collar—featuring a black stripe breaking up two red bands, echoed on the sleeve cuffs—appears the inscription "Δύναμη Ψυχής" ("Dýnami Psychís"), a Greek expression meaning "inner strength", reflecting the resilience and determination that inspired the jersey.
The new AC Milan Away Kit 2026/27 is available at AC Milan Official Stores, on store.acmilan.com, puma.com, and through selected retailers.
