PUMA has unveiled its first Premier League ball
It's a new era
June 3rd, 2025
PUMA has unveiled the official match ball for the 2025/26 Premier League season. This marks the first chapter of the brand’s partnership with the English league, as the German company replaces Nike after 25 years as the official ball supplier. Officially named the PUMA Orbita Ultimate PL, the ball features twelve equally sized panels designed to ensure precise weight distribution and perfect balance. The high-frequency thermo-bonding guarantees long-lasting durability, with wider and deeper seams to enhance aerodynamics, shape retention, and provide a soft touch with every strike—on any pitch, in any weather condition.
The predominant colors are purple and pink. The panels are characterized by irregular geometric shapes and decorated with patterns that echo the same shades as the outlines, creating a dynamic visual effect. The new partnership between PUMA and the Premier League kicks off with the “Have a Ball” campaign, which celebrates the pure joy and exhilaration of having the ball at your feet. The initiative aims to encourage players of all levels to free themselves from overthinking and doubts, inspiring a game driven by instinct, freedom, and creativity—on and off the pitch. The PUMA Orbita Ultimate PL will make its official debut during the Premier League Summer Series, held in the United States this July, and will also be used in the opening round of the Premier League on August 16.
