In the deep Italian mountains with Inter and Nike, discovering the first ACG kit In the heart of Alpe Devero, with Júlio César and Luís Figo
There are unveilings—and then there are unveilings: yesterday Inter and Nike truly set a new benchmark in football kit launches. The experience offered to invited guests—who departed from San Siro heading to Alpe Devero aboard two Torsus Praetorian vehicles, essentially 4x4 buses designed for extreme weather and road conditions—was nothing short of magical; fitting, of course, for the launch of an unprecedented collaboration with ACG.
For the first collaboration between an outdoor-focused sublabel and a football club, flawless organization was essential. Remaining perfectly aligned with the essence of the Nike ACG line, Nike and Inter created a football pitch on the snow-covered expanse of Alpe Devero, an alpine basin located within the Veglia-Devero Natural Park, which spectators could reach only after a 20-minute hike along a snow-covered trail. Two teams, captained respectively by Nerazzurri legends Júlio César and Luís Figo, faced off while taking into account extreme conditions: not only the weather—marked by heavy snowfall and temperatures around -5°C—but also those of the pitch itself, created specifically for the occasion. The playing surface featured a large boulder positioned roughly around the midfield area, which the players selected for this truly unique match could interact with, climbing onto it to shoot towards the opposing goals.
The snowy setting of Alpe Devero provided the backdrop not only for the new fourth and goalkeeper kits worn by the players on the pitch, but also for the entire Nike ACG collaboration. The players made their entrance wearing the Inter PrimaLoft item, while along the sidelines it was possible to discover all the other pieces from the collection, including the ACG Glacier jacket, caps, beanies, and much more.
