Umbro and secondhalf.pdf dedicate a collection to the role of the goalkeeper It's secondhalf.pdf, with a collection entirely dedicated to the goalkeeper
For the latest chapter of Tailored for Umbro, the British brand has joined forces with the football-inspired brand secondhalf.pdf to launch a limited capsule centered on the figure of the goalkeeper, and the way this role is embedded in the sport. The collection is in fact a tribute to football’s number ones and the charisma that goalkeepers must necessarily embody. Goalkeepers are conventionally footballers who stand out from the crowd. Different shirts, different rules, different responsibilities. The collection embraces the ruthless individuality that defines the role, reinterpreting it as a true identity rather than a limitation. From an aesthetic standpoint, the signature stylistic codes of secondhalf.pdf are present as always, namely the scan technique , which appears on every piece in the collection.
The collection is supported by a campaign featuring a short film and a lookbook, built around the feeling of really being there—not just for the football, but also for the people you play it with. Shot in a stripped-back cage environment, the campaign moves between portraits and authentic moments: laughter, collisions, conversations—the details that usually go unnoticed. The short film is tied together by a manifesto encouraging people to “Choose Number 1,” anchoring the campaign in the narrative behind the project.
Tailored for Umbro by secondhalf.pdf will be available exclusively online from April 24 at 10:00 on www.secondhalfpdf.com.
