Performance is all about movement As demonstrated by Lynk & Co at the 2026 European Volleyball Championships

In Gothenburg, sport and mobility came together on the occasion of the 2026 Women’s European Volleyball Championship. Lynk & Co was the tournament’s Official Car Partner, becoming part of the everyday experience of an event that brought together athletes, staff and delegations from across Europe throughout its duration.

Lynk & Co 08 models moved between arenas, training sessions and tournament venues as part of the official European Championship fleet. Customized with the official graphics and logo of the event, the cars accompanied teams and organizers during their journeys, becoming part of the tournament’s backdrop and its more everyday dimension, made up of transfers, meetings and moments away from the court.

At the heart of the partnership was therefore the Lynk & Co 08, a long-range plug-in hybrid SUV that combines comfort, technology and efficiency. With up to 200 kilometers of WLTP electric range and DC fast-charging capability, the Lynk & Co 08 is equally suited to everyday journeys and longer trips.

Mobility was also an integral part of our experience in Gothenburg. During our stay in Sweden, the new Lynk & Co 02 MY27, an evolution of the brand’s 100% electric coupé crossover, was our vehicle of choice for getting around the city, including on the occasion of one of the tournament’s most anticipated fixtures: Italy-France. A clash that, whatever the sport, is never a foregone conclusion and takes on a particular intensity when two national teams face each other.

On the court, the Azzurre imposed their game from the very beginning, leaving the French side very little room to respond. Italy conceded just one set before quickly closing out the match. A victory that foreshadowed the Azzurre’s journey through the tournament, which ultimately ended with a second-place finish at the 2026 European Championship.
