Liverpool has unveil its Nike AirMax collection The latest one with the Swoosh next to the Reds logo

While waiting for adidas to return as the technical sponsor of Liverpool from August 1st of this year, Nike is playing its last collections specifically made for the Reds, also taking advantage of the upcoming Premier League conquest. And a few days before Air Max Day, the players of Arne Slot took the field for the warm-up before the highly anticipated Merseyside derby against Everton, wearing a black pre-match shirt with the AirMax logo in the center. The sticker introduced by Nike along with the AirMax95 is one of the most beloved by sneaker enthusiasts and collectors with the Air Bubble, and its history has often crossed paths with that of football.

Unforgettable are the images of Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Costacurta before a match of the Italian National Team or more recently the Stadium collections created by Nike for Liverpool,Tottenham Hotspurs, and Chelsea in 2021. In that case, Tottenham had the Air Max 95 logo instead of their usual sponsor, while Liverpool had the Air Max 90 logo. The English club has never hidden its strong connection with Nike's most famous shoe line, thanks in part to its minority owner LeBron James, who often wears the sneakers with the bubble when he arrives at the Staples Center. The collection previewed on the field is yet to be fully presented, with pieces ranging from performance to lifestyle, but it should arrive in the coming days.
