Newcastle's new Home jersey from adidas

A fresh take on a timeless classic. This is the claim accompanying the new Home jersey of Newcastle for the 2025/26 season, created by adidas. The base pattern remains unchanged with black and white vertical stripes, but in this edition of the home kit, they have been reinterpreted. Specifically, the black stripes feature a jagged edge inspired by the shepherd’s check pattern. The shirt is completed by light blue accents—a nod to the official club colors found in the logo—on the sleeves and collar, as well as in the Teamgeist graphic applied to the front.

On the back of the shirt, which is mostly white, the phrase ‘Howay the Lads’ appears—a club motto chanted by fans at every match. Notably, this phrase will only appear on the men’s team shirt, as the club has confirmed that the shirt for the women's team, competing in the Women's Super League 2, will feature the phrase ‘Howay the Lasses’—a rewording of the slogan to reflect the club’s commitment to women’s football. The kit will be paired with black shorts and socks.
