Kappa has officially unveiled the new Genoa Third kit for the 2025/26 season. A special jersey designed to celebrate the club’s 132nd anniversary. The final result is a clean, elegant kit, meticulous in every detail, yet still surprising for its color choices. Above all, the decision to pair a blue shirt and socks with solid red shorts. The inspiration comes from the official anthem Un Cantico per il Mio Grifone sung by the fans before every home match at Marassi. One of the most important lines of that chant, written by Peo Campodonico and Gian Piero Reverberi, goes: “Coi pantaloni rossi e la maglietta blu”, "with red shorts and a blue jersey". A tribute to the song that is the most symbolic and iconic in terms of identity.

As mentioned, blue dominates the jersey thanks to a solid-color solution enhanced by a series of very fine horizontally embroidered threads along the entire jersey with a tone-on-tone effect. Breaking up the color block is the use of silver for details such as the Authentic logo, Kappa’s spin-off, which for the first time appears on a Genoa shirt, bringing streetwear onto the football pitch. Silver is also the shade used for the club crest as well as the sponsors. Finally, silver has also been used to draw the Griffin logo on the socks. The last detail that makes this jersey special, perfectly captured by the photo campaign shot by Nicolò Rinaldi with the creative and production support of No Panic, is the lace-up collar, a symbol long synonymous with style, elegance, and tradition.
