Sampdoria and Macron have officially unveiled the club's new Away and Third jerseys for the 2026/27 season. Rather than introducing two conventional alternate kits, the pair have looked back to the club's origins, celebrating Sampdoria's 80th anniversary with a tribute to Ginnastica Comunale Sampierdarenese and Ginnastica Andrea Doria, the two historic clubs whose merger gave birth to the Blucerchiati.
The first jersey revisits the identity of Sampierdarenese, founded in 1891 in Genoa's historic Sampierdarena district. It features an off-white base interrupted by two bold horizontal stripes, one red and one black, recreated through sublimation printing. Black knitted details define the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, while an embossed all-over pattern celebrates the club's 80th anniversary with a specially designed crest featuring the number 80, where the St. George's Cross replaces the zero, enclosed within a laurel wreath and topped by the unmistakable silhouette of the Baciccia. The kit can be paired with either black shorts and matching socks detailed in red and black, or with off-white shorts and coordinated socks finished with red and black hoops.
The Third jersey is inspired by Ginnastica Andrea Doria, founded in 1900, bringing back the club's iconic quartered white-and-navy design through a contemporary interpretation. The body is split into navy and white halves, with the colours reversed on the sleeves, while a white knitted polo collar reinforces the vintage aesthetic. At the centre of the shirt sits the St. George's Cross, one of Genoa's most recognisable symbols. Just like the Away kit, the jersey features the embossed 80th-anniversary graphic and the same commemorative detailing, before being completed with navy shorts and matching socks finished with a white turnover.
The new U.C. Sampdoria 2026/27 Away and Third kits are now available on the club's official online store and through the dedicated Sampdoria section on macron.com.
