Pisa goes back to the 1980s with its new adidas Third kit A dive into the past
Pisa have officially unveiled their new Third kit for the 2026/27 season. Designed by adidas, the jersey looks directly to the club’s history, with the launch built around the claim "Un tuffo nel passato" — "A dive into the past". A tribute to Pisa’s deepest roots, drawing inspiration from a kit worn, and loved, in the mid-Eighties.
The jersey is defined by a distinctly retro aesthetic, built around a white base crossed by thin blue and black lines. Red details interrupt the pattern, appearing on the collar and the three stripes, creating a direct connection with the club’s flag, featuring the Pisan Cross. Together, these elements turn the new Third kit into an exercise in memory, updated through adidas’ contemporary design language.
The presentation itself chose to tell the story of the past from a different perspective. The launch campaign began last Sunday, during Pisa’s win against Catanzaro. In the stands of the Cetilar Arena, a selected group of Nerazzurri supporters of different generations had the chance to wear the new kit ahead of its official release.
Each of them was also given a disposable camera to capture their day as a Nerazzurri supporter through vintage-inspired images. A simple and spontaneous way to build a collective story made of faces, gestures, stands and memories, bringing the new jersey into the more intimate and authentic dimension that connects a shirt to the history of a team and its community.
