nss sports goes to New York To unveil Le Vêtements de Football – The Golden Age of Football Jerseys, with two talks, an afterparty, and a street soccer tournament
For the launch of the new nss sports book, Le Vêtements de Football – The Golden Age of Football Jerseys, the city chosen to kick off a world tour that will continue throughout 2025 and 2026 is New York.
In addition to being one of the fashion capitals of the world, where thousands of subcultures fill the streets of a multifaceted city, New York is also now a vibrant hub for football: the growing quality and interest in MLS, the current revamped edition of the Club World Cup, and above all, the anticipation for the 2026 World Cup – an event set to revolutionize the game as we know it – are all proof of that.
nss sports is organizing four different events in the Big Apple:
It all starts on Wednesday, July 9, from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with a book presentation and a talk featuring guests Kyle Martino and Cameron Jones from SOCCERTES.
The following day kicks off a two-day lineup of events:
Thursday, July 10, book presentation at the Classic Football Shirts store, with Matthew Dale, founder of CFS, and Florencia Galarza – a key figure at the intersection of football and fashion in New York, co-founder of Kith FC in 2018 and DJ for the evening organized by nss sports.
Following that, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, a special event will take place at Regina’s Grocery.
Finally, on Friday, July 11 in the morning, nss sports is organizing a street soccer tournament at The Ground, one of the city's most iconic pitches. Participating teams include: CAMP CAMP CAMP, Bowery FC, The Chinatown Soccer Club, nss sports x SOCCERTES, Classic Football Shirts New York, and Wavy Footy.
