The new Nike Tiempo celebrating Italian luxury They were first worn by Virgil van Dijk
Nike has officially unveiled a new and exclusive version of its iconic Tiempo: the Legend ‘Luxe’ Made in Italy, a refined reinterpretation designed to celebrate the luxury and style typically associated with Italy. Made at the Montebelluna facility, the boot features a light upper with a scale effect enriched with FlyTouch Plus engineered leather and All Conditions Control technology. The same scale-effect texture was also used for the silver Swoosh that shines on the outer side of the boot, allowing Nike to achieve its goal: creating a shoe that reflects a sense of elegance and style pursuit.
Additional details enrich the boot: for example, a small Italian flag stitched on the elastic fabric section at sock height, or the silver caps-lock signature of Tiempo paired with a cursive signature to highlight the Legend collection — not to mention the blue crest placed on the insole to celebrate the long-standing relationship between Nike and the Montebelluna facility.
Finally, what makes this release even more exclusive is the premium packaging: a black leather case, elegant and sophisticated, perfect to store a shoe that is both a symbol of technical innovation and a tribute to Italian elegance. The first player to wear them on the pitch was Virgil van Dijk last Saturday: the Liverpool captain wore the Legend ‘Luxe’ Made in Italy during the Reds' friendly match against Milan in Hong Kong. A first sneak peek of a boot ready to invade the European and global football scene.
