The club is sponsored by the Spanish supplier Joma and has three very minimalist kits: in order, black, red, and white. Since the French designer got involved, the design has not been modified in any way: the brand name was simply added to the center of the shirt in its characteristic typeface, in black.
Excluding the campaign shot with Jules Koundé as the protagonist, until a few months ago, if we had imagined Jacquemus entering the world of football, we would hardly have expected to see two worlds so distant come together, not so much in terms of industry, but in terms of perception and positioning. At the same time, the brand’s interest in football — even starting from a small example like AS Charleval — could pave the way for a future collaboration with a larger sports brand, such as Nike, with whom Jacquemus has already worked in the past on a sneaker capsule.
