Dan John is FIR's formalwear for the 2026 Six Nations And the ambassador could be none other than Gonzalo Quesada
The 2026 Six Nations kicked off on January 31, with the first match of the opening round between France and Wales, and continues through the first days of February until its conclusion, scheduled for March 15, 2026. This edition also promises to be full of surprises, one of which is certainly the partnership between FIR and the men’s clothing brand Dan John. The team, led by Gonzalo Quesada, who will serve as the ambassador for this special collaboration, will wear Dan John pieces throughout the competition, raising the flag of formalwear even within the world of rugby. In short, a trend so far mostly associated with football, thanks to numerous collaborations between clubs and fashion houses, is now expanding into rugby as well.
The Azzurri athletes’ uniforms will be very classic, featuring a dark suit made up of a double-breasted canvas blazer with patch pockets and pleated trousers, paired with a white T-shirt highlighted by Dan John branding. The distinctive detail is found inside the jacket, where a round patch and a line of stitching follow the silhouette of a rugby ball: a tailor-made patch bearing a phrase that captures each athlete’s answer to the question, “Who do you really play for?” Alongside the suit, Dan John has also chosen to pair a travel bag, the ideal accessory to complete a perfect travelwear look.
