PUMA unveils the new official Serie A, Premier League and La Liga balls for 2026/27 The new season starts here
The 2026/27 football season has already kicked off thanks to PUMA, which today officially unveiled the new match balls for Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League. The brand revealed the STELLAR NITRO™ ULTIMATE, the official match ball for the 2026/27 season, released in three different versions depending on the league.
The new Serie A 2026/27 match ball
The new Serie A match ball is a next-generation product that features proprietary NITROFOAM™ technology, a nitrogen-infused foam designed to deliver greater energy return on impact, resulting in more responsive touches, quicker passes and enhanced feel on the ball. Designed to meet the demands of top-level footballers, the new ball was developed to ensure elite performance in every game situation. The design also reflects this contemporary vision of the sport. Dynamic graphics in shades of blue and light blue run across a clean white base, creating a distinctive visual identity designed to stand out on the biggest stages of Italian football.
The new Premier League 2026/27 match ball
Following its debut during the 2025/26 season, PUMA will once again be present in the Premier League. The ball features a distinctive visual identity, with graphic patterns in pink, aqua green, blue and purple set against a white background. Its 4x4 panel construction ensures the perfect balance between airflow and aerodynamic resistance, delivering a more precise and controlled flight with every strike, while the rough and textured outer surface is engineered to maintain speed and stability throughout its trajectory.
The new La Liga 2026/27 match ball
For the 2026/27 La Liga season, PUMA developed the most innovative and technologically advanced match ball the brand has ever created. From an aesthetic standpoint, it combines performance and personality through a modern and sophisticated design. Set on a clean white base, subtle graphic accents in shades such as fuchsia, turquoise and purple add a fresh touch, while darker shapes, with black as the dominant color, create depth and allow the colors to subtly stand out in motion. The result is a design that is instantly recognizable on the pitch.
