The best looks from the 2026 Roland Garros Naomi Osaka stays undefeated

Even before the start of the 2026 edition of Roland Garros, we had already decided what, in our opinion, was the tournament’s best kit: the one designed by Nike for Aryna Sabalenka. Now that the opening rounds are fully underway and dozens of players have taken to the court, we’ve had the chance to see what other brands brought to Paris. Our favorite remains unchanged, but we’ve still been impressed by several other looks and outfits that are unquestionably worthy of attention.

Mattia Bellucci - C.P. Company

Mattia Bellucci’s experience came to an end in the very first round, but as always his C.P. Company outfit did not go unnoticed. Once again, the kit stood in contrast with the current aesthetics of tennis, as the Italian player brought onto the court a style inspired by the 1990s, featuring relaxed cuts paired with his unmistakable bandana. The standout detail was undoubtedly the paisley pattern featured throughout the shorts, inspired by one of C.P. Company’s most iconic archival prints, originally designed by Massimo Osti in the 1980s. The same pattern was also incorporated into the collar, creating a visual connection between the two elements of the kit.

Flavio Cobolli and Ben Shelton - On

A pixelated gradient pattern shifting from a dark shade of purple to solid white defined the looks created by On, replicated with the same details for both Flavio Cobolli and Ben Shelton. The only difference was that the Italian player wore a classic t-shirt, while the American stepped onto the court, as always, in a sleeveless top that, together with the sweat generated by the infernal heat in which the 2026 Roland Garros is being played, highlighted his muscles. For the women’s tournament, On once again opted for purple, this time in a pastel shade that conveyed a more elegant image compared to the aggressive looks worn by Cobolli and Shelton.

Naomi Osaka - Nike

No Grand Slam goes by without Naomi Osaka stealing the spotlight with a breathtaking on-court entrance. Kevin Germanier, the haute couture designer known for transforming recycled materials into iconic garments, created an elegant monochrome black dress that concealed a clay-colored match kit embellished with delicate golden details, glowing under the sunlight as she stepped onto the court. An effect that, as Osaka herself pointed out after her opening match against Laura Siegemund, reminded her of the Eiffel Tower.

Novak Djokovic - Lacoste

If we’re talking about the most iconic looks spotted at the 2026 edition of Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic and the special jacket created by Lacoste undoubtedly deserve a mention. Much like last year’s US Open, the design was created by the brand’s creative director, Pelagia Kolotouros. The piece is unlike anything seen before: to craft the wolf featured on the back of the Serbian champion’s jacket, actual Roland Garros clay was used through a special technique designed to pay tribute both to the Parisian tournament and to the brand’s heritage.

Anastasia Potapova - Wilson

While lighter shades have dominated so far — also for practical reasons, as darker colors tend to amplify the heat — it is worth highlighting the work done by Wilson for Anastasia Potapova. A distinctive set featuring a wave-effect skirt that, in its navy blue palette, conveys a sense of refinement and precision. Almost as if it were trying to preserve a veil of elegance within a setting like clay-court tennis, a world that inevitably evokes sweat and dirt.
