The best outfits form the US Open 2025 From Djokovic wearing a custom Lacoste's jacket to Alcaraz rocking a Total 90 jersey

It may not be the favorite for the bookmakers, but Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly the star of the 2025 US Open. This is down to the splendid work carried out by Lacoste to celebrate the Serb as the G.O.A.T. of tennis because of the 24 Grand Slam tournaments won in his career. The most prized piece is undoubtedly the jacket worn by Djokovic as he entered the court, an exclusive garment designed by Pelagia Kolotouros, the brand's creative director. A white windbreaker whose back features an embroidered map with four tennis balls in four different colors which in turn mark specific points on the map — the locations of the four Slams. It is not the first time Lacoste has made special jackets for Djokovic; for example, in 2023 also at the US Open after winning the title he wore a special jacket on which the number 24 had been embroidered in reference to the Grand Slam titles won in his career, a solution that that same year was used for title number 22 (Australian Open) and 23 (Roland Garros). The tributes do not end there: Lacoste, again to celebrate Djokovic as the G.O.A.T., designed a line in which the iconic crocodile was replaced by the silhouette of a goat. As for on-court wear, a total black kit with gold finishes arrived, an aesthetic scheme that was also adopted by Asics for the Serb's shoes.

The partnership between Jannik Sinner and Gucci also enters a new chapter with the 2025 US Open. The Italian was the face of a customised version of the iconic GG Supreme duffle bag on the eve of his tournament debut against Vit Kopriva. The original red and green design has been reimagined with a beige base adorned with blue accents, including the shoulder strap and top closure, as well as blue and yellow trimming — a nod to the US Open's signature colours. While Sinner had previously been seen carrying this bag in 2023, it nonetheless confirms that the current world number one in the ATP rankings is the leading exponent of luxury tennis. However, upon entering the court, Sinner carried a white Gucci bag, completing a Nike-branded amaranth look. Carlos Alcaraz, by contrast, was the face of Total 90 since, surprisingly during practice, he wore a Nike tank top with the iconic 90 circled in the center and a color pattern that recalls the United States jersey. On court he wore a purple sleeveless kit accompanied by a pair of Nike Zoom Vapor 12 in the same shade with a pink Swoosh and completed by a velvet-effect jacket.

The new arrivals for the 2025 US Open do not stop there. For example, adidas, after opting for tradition at Wimbledon with a series of looks characterized by the return of the trefoil, brings to the United States for the season's final Slam a Y-3 collection: the chosen athletes will wear new pieces signed by Yohji Yamamoto, where sporting heritage meets sartorial avant-garde. A comeback that unites tennis and fashion into a single, bold vision. The on-court collection was also accompanied by a casual line that echoes the same patterns worn by the athletes. Two kits instead for Asics, which will provide Lorenzo Musetti and Jasmine Paolini with an all-white uniform for afternoon matches while for night matches both will sport an all-black look. The same color choice was made by Hugo Boss for Taylor Fritz. Lulumelon for Francis Tiafoe designed an all-tone red kit with a streaked effect. For Jack Draper, New York represents the stage for the debut of his collaboration with Viura after ending his relationship with Nike.

Venus Williams, for what probably has been her last match of her career, wore an all-white look composed of a visor, a three-button polo and a skirt signed by erl, the brand founded by Eli Russell Linnetz. erl also designed a special case for Williams, complete with a plush finish and leather straps. Coco Gauff confirms herself as a style icon for New Balance: after circumventing Wimbledon’s strict dress code with an embroidered white dress and wearing the latest kit from the Miu Miu collection at the Cincinnati tournament, at Flushing Meadows Gauff will sport the classic tank-top-and-skirt combo this time with red details on a white base. Aryna Sabalenka instead stole the show with her silver Nike-branded jacket but above all with her Wilson duffle, a bag with a zebra-effect made of red stripes applied on a transparent plastic that lets the interior of the bag be seen — usually an off-limits area for fans and spectators. Finally, an honourable mention goes to Naomi Osaka, who stole the show once again with her sophisticated look. This time, she wore a series of diamond-studded roses in her hair, and the same design was also featured on her Nike jacket and the Labubu attached to her bag.
