Sweet Soccer arrives in Catanzaro for its final Italian stop See you at Campo Aldisio on September 19
After travelling through Milan, Genoa and Cagliari, the Sweet Soccer journey reaches its final Italian stop. The destination is Catanzaro, where the project will arrive at Campo Aldisio on September 19, from 5 to 9 PM, bringing football back to its most direct dimension: the streets. Because before stadiums, competitions and the bright lights, football is born on small pitches. In those spaces where the goals can be two backpacks, the rules change depending on who is playing, and a game can become the simplest way to meet someone.
This is the idea behind Sweet Soccer. A project that puts football as culture, community and a form of expression at the centre, seeking it out in the places where it continues to be experienced without filters. In Catanzaro, this philosophy will take the form of a 5-a-side futsal tournament. An essential, fast-paced and physical format, where every inch of space matters and every player has the chance to leave their mark.
From North to South, the same idea of football
Milan, Genoa, Cagliari. And now Catanzaro. Four different cities, four settings far apart, but united by the same idea: football belongs to the people who play it. Sweet Soccer has travelled across Italy following this very path, meeting local communities and realities and creating a new way to experience the game each time. For the final stop, the journey moves even further south, where futsal becomes the language through which to bring this chapter to a close. On September 19, Campo Aldisio will therefore host the final Italian Sweet Soccer event. From 5 to 9 PM, football will once again be exactly what it should be: a game to be shared.
