New Balance introduce the new Bayer Leverkusen'sA Away kit A very surprising jersey
Bayer Leverkusen and New Balance have unveiled the new Away jersey of the Werkself. While the Home jersey, the first chapter of the new partnership, stayed true to the club’s tradition, the new Away shirt is definitely more provocative in terms of style and color. It is a cream white jersey that fades into a delicate shade of purple, with a pattern covering the upper part of the shirt and extending to the sleeves. Specifically, the pattern is a floral design that pays tribute to the Japanese Garden in Leverkusen, a symbolic place in the city.
A shade of purple has been used for the New Balance logo and the club crest, making them stand out. Both symbols have been applied with a glossy plastic effect, while on the Home jersey they were applied with a textile finish. Additionally, the details of the Bayer Leverkusen logo are in a monochrome version with white trim on a red background. The main sponsor color also changes — it appeared in white on the Home jersey, whereas here it appears in blue.
The collar is a crewneck, cream white on the front to match the lower part of the shirt, while on the back it recalls the club's official colors with two small black stripes running along a textured red fabric, under which the red "Werkself" lettering appears, also in a glossy plastic finish.
