The new Manchester City Home jersye feature a gradient design PUMA reinterprets the club’s heritage

The new Manchester City Home jersey for the 2026/27 Premier League season introduces a surprising element: the gradient. PUMA has designed a shirt that draws from the club’s visual heritage while reinterpreting it through a new aesthetic language. The classic sky blue dominates the jersey before fading into white across the lower section, creating a seamless visual transition with the shorts and socks.

An alternative design approach that, from the club’s perspective, reflects the ambitions of a side that — thanks in part to the work of Pep Guardiola on the touchline — has turned extraordinary achievements into routine year after year. A constant evolution driven by a relentless hunger for success that pushes City to never settle. The overall result is a kit that feels modern and distinctive while remaining unmistakably City. The jersey is completed with a metallic monochromatic crest, an effect that is also replicated across the sponsor logos. The new goalkeeper kit was also unveiled, featuring the spider’s web design previously seen with Borussia Dortmund.

The official launch campaign for the jersey also caught fans by surprise: the Manchester City players were portrayed inside an office environment, juggling phone calls, emails and scenes of everyday workplace routine which, through the presence of scattered sheets of paper, subtly referenced The Office. A shoot that, much like the jersey itself, breaks away from traditional football aesthetics to build an entirely new narrative.
