Ralph Lauren is bringing sartorial style to the Milan Cortina 2026 Games For the tenth consecutive edition, the brand will dress Team USA
Ralph Lauren will once again outfit Team USA for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, having revealed the official collection designed for athletes at the Milan opening ceremony and the Verona Arena closing ceremony. This collection embodies the brand's long-standing commitment to elegance, crafting apparel that both visually underscores the patriotic spirit of the Olympics and highlights its distinct stylistic elements, especially prominent in such a prestigious setting.
Ralph Lauren Presents Team USA’s Milano Cortina 2026 Collection
For the opening ceremony scheduled for February 6, 2026 at San Siro, the outfit includes a cream-colored wool coat with duffle fastening paired with tailored trousers in the same shade. Completing the look is a hand-knitted vintage-style wool turtleneck sweater that echoes the colors of the United States flag (red, white and blue). The look planned for the closing ceremony is decidedly more sporty, where a second turtleneck wool sweater is paired with white cargo trousers and a down jacket that again picks up the flag's colors.
A Style Evolution from Beijing 2008 to Today
The collection for Milano Cortina 2026 also has symbolic value for Ralph Lauren as it marks the brand's tenth consecutive edition of the Olympic Games (combining Summer and Winter) in which it outfits Team USA. From the classic jacket-and-trousers combinations rendered with various details starting from Beijing 2008 through London, Rio, Tokyo and Paris, to more refined solutions for the Winter Games. But if, looking at all the lines used from Vancouver 2010 up to Beijing 2022, the sportswear component had prevailed over the concept of style, now this paradigm has been reversed, confirming once again that the upcoming Olympic Games will be the most elegant ever.
