White is back on Bayern Munich's Home jersey
The debut is expected at the Club World Cup
June 10th, 2025
Bayern Munich have unveiled the new Home jersey for the 2025/26 season, which will debut at the upcoming Club World Cup. A striking production by adidas, in which the traditional red and white colors reign supreme. The most eye-catching detail is the white inserts placed just below the collar and at the bottom of the shirt. Through a play of red shades that almost appear to form a pixelated pattern fading into the white background, adidas has created a stylized M as a symbol of the bond between the club and the city of Munich.
White inserts have also been added to the lower parts of the sleeves, while the collar features a white crew neck, as do the sleeve edges, embellished with the inscription Bayern Munchen FC. All sponsor details are in white. The kit is completed by solid red shorts and socks. The Teamgeist pattern, which adidas has applied to the team's Away jersey, is not present here. In addition, an exclusive edition of the jersey has been created in honor of Thomas Muller. On the back of this special jersey, the number 25 is adorned with images of Muller lifting the trophies he has won throughout his career with Bayern Munich.
The return of white to the Home jersey will allow Bayern Munich to avoid the aesthetic mishap that last season prevented them from wearing the Home jersey in Champions League matches. For the 2025/26 season, names and numbers on the back of the shirt will be in white, unlike last season, when black details were used on three different shades of red. In this way, a strong contrast has been created with the primary color of the jersey, thus exceeding the well-known 30 Delta L threshold, the unit of measurement used by UEFA to define the contrast value between colors.
