AMIRI is the new formal wear partner of Barcelona The Blaugrana part ways with Herno, switching to the Californian brand

Barcelona has chosen AMIRI as its new formal wear partner, following its collaboration with Herno. The California-based brand, founded by designer Mike Amiri, will create made-to-measure suits for all players — both men’s and women’s teams — as well as for executives and club management members. The pieces take inspiration directly from the iconic colors of the Blaugrana uniform: blue and garnet, shades that have represented the club for over a century. Combining AMIRI’s unmistakable style with Barcelona’s distinctive identity, the maison presents a deep navy blue as the main color for the Winter 2025 season. The wardrobe includes double-breasted six-button wool overcoats, double-breasted jackets for men, single-breasted ones for women, and slightly flared wool trousers with fine white pinstripes on a blue background.

For the summer season, the fine stripe returns on a new classic blouson with a shirt collar — an iconic AMIRI style inspired by sportswear and reinterpreted in a formal key — now brought back to its athletic roots and enriched with the brand’s monogram embroidered on the chest pocket. Lightweight knitwear pieces with sporty silhouettes feature the contrasting MA monogram and tone-on-tone club embroidery, completing the summer wardrobe. For winter, striped poplin shirts are paired with a garnet and blue tie and a gold pin, for a timeless touch of elegance.

"Football and fashion share the same spirit, born from passion, precision, and creativity. Both are about mastering one’s craft and expressing one’s identity through movement and form. Collaborating with FC Barcelona allows AMIRI to reflect this same pursuit of excellence through our tailoring. This partnership with Barça is a celebration of shared values," said Mike Amiri. "The collaboration with AMIRI represents the connection between two institutions that share the same ambition: excellence, creativity, and attention to detail. At Barcelona, we believe elegance is part of how we represent the Club, on and off the pitch. AMIRI brings a contemporary vision of craftsmanship and style that perfectly aligns with our identity and the values that define us as an institution. Together, we project a global image of innovation and sophistication, values we deeply identify with," said Manel del Río, CEO of FC Barcelona.
