This year as well, Bayern Munich has made a jersey for Oktoberfest And this year too, it's better than the Home, Away, and Third versions
The Champions League on the horizon, three league matches already archived with full points: new season, same old Bayern Munich. And, true to tradition, the club has already unveiled its customary Oktoberfest jersey, the festival held every year right in Munich.
As has been the case since the 2021/22 season, when this trend was launched together with adidas, the kit is defined by details that recall Bavarian tradition. Just like last year, the shirt is adorned with the Oktoberfest crest: an element that, in the early editions of this initiative, was replaced by the simple addition of a laurel leaf beneath the Bayern Munich badge.
The novelty for 2024 is the off-white base, chosen for the first time since this tradition began. In previous years, other shades had been used (green, burgundy, dark grey), always paired with golden details. This year, however, off-white - confirming an increasingly widespread trend, with numerous clubs and technical sponsors adopting this color scheme - is combined with different shades of green, giving the jersey a more delicate touch.
The color choice is not related to the fact that Bayern’s seasonal collection already includes a white kit: the special Oktoberfest jersey will, in fact, only be worn in one home match. As per tradition, although its launch coincides with the Champions League debut, the Bavarians will wear it at the Allianz Arena on October 5, on the occasion of the Bundesliga clash against Werder Bremen.
