Marcus Thuram has done it again He was the undisputed star of Inter’s Scudetto celebrations
Marcus Thuram left his mark on Inter’s Scudetto triumph. The French striker broke the deadlock against Parma in the match that delivered the Nerazzurri their 21st Serie A title. Once the final whistle blew, Thuram was among the most active in the celebrations and, just as it happened in 2024, he gave us some of the most striking and meaningful images from Inter’s title party.
Which sunglasses Thuram wore at the Scudetto celebration
The first moment came right at the final whistle. Thuram embraced the now-iconic trend of players wearing sunglasses during title celebrations. Holding the Tricolore flag marked with the number 21, the Nerazzurri forward drew everyone’s attention with his eyewear. Just like during the second star celebrations, Thuram wore a pair of Oakley Kato, adding a futuristic twist to the party staged at San Siro.
The Kobe Bryant tribute in the locker room
The second image came through social media. Thuram recreated the legendary photo of Kobe Bryant after winning the NBA Finals in 2001. In that shot, Bryant posed with the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, wearing a contemplative expression that captured a state of mind suspended between relief and exhaustion. The image’s cultural weight was amplified by the jacket Bryant wore—a custom leather jacket designed by Jeff Hamilton, featuring multiple Los Angeles Lakers logos.
Thuram replicated that exact aesthetic. From the introspective pose, gaze lowered, to holding the Coppa Campioni d’Italia, and a custom leather jacket that faithfully reinterprets Inter’s home jersey, complete with two prominently displayed Tricolore patches symbolizing the two Scudetti won since his arrival. This is just the latest of Thuram’s tributes this season, having already honored one of his idols in Como by recreating the iconic corner flag celebration of Thierry Henry.
