Genoa have unveiled their home kit for the 2026/27 season «You’ll Never Run Alone»
The new Genoa home kit for the 2026/27 season was created with the aim of reinterpreting some of the most iconic aesthetic codes of the 1990s, transforming them into a contemporary language capable of combining emotional heritage and innovation. The inspiration comes to life on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the historic Anfield triumph, when Genoa became the first Italian team to win at Liverpool’s ground in an international competition, one of the most memorable moments in the history of Italy’s oldest football club.
The new kit, made from KOMBAT fabric, brings back, through a new perspective, some of the distinctive elements of that era: the polo collar with jacquard detailing in the Club’s colours returns, as does the full Genoa crest on the chest after a season in which the stylised Griffin took centre stage. The vibrant red colour also returns, once again featuring on the right half of the shirt after the last two seasons. The back of the collar features the universal motto From the beginning, forever, another tribute to the sense of belonging and the uniqueness of the Rossoblù heritage. The traditional vertical division between red and blue remains the core element of the design, enhanced by an essential construction, a tone-on-tone texture and coordinated details on the collar and sleeves.
The launch of the new Home Jersey is supported by the You’ll Never Run Alone campaign, created by Genoa and Kappa with the involvement of No Panic Agency, the Club’s creative partner, featuring photography by Genoese photographer Andrea Venturini. The story brings together five protagonists of that historic achievement – Bortolazzi, Ferroni, Ruotolo, Skuhravy and Torrente – who become the link between Genoa’s past and present. The campaign video and photographs also pay tribute to the legacy of Gianluca Signorini, the unforgettable captain and symbolic figure of that team, through a presence that celebrates his memory and honours the heritage he left behind.
