GRIP brings hiking to Italian cities, with the support of Karhu
Walking is a style statement
June 17th, 2025
Supported by Karhu, GRIP HIKE ITALIA is a project that crosses Italy at a slow pace, bringing the spirit of hiking to the city. The project aims to help people discover landscapes, stories and local communities through outdoor events that combine nature, socialising and a sense of belonging. Each stage involves 30–50 people and consists of half a day of activities in natural or semi-urban locations, such as hillside parks, urban paths and scenic areas within walking distance of the city centre.
Thanks to the collaboration with stores that embody the union of lifestyle and outdoor, the calendar will showcase some of the most interesting outdoor and fashion scenes in Italy, including Torino, Milano, Cuneo, Piacenza, Bari, Naples, Rome, Biella and Taranto. On the occasion of Pitti Uomo, GRIP and Karhu will kick off the project with a sunset hike in the hills of Settignano, in collaboration with the collective Casa Z-A and Switch Shop, a multi-brand store in the heart of Florence. A community of enthusiasts and insiders will walk through the hills as the sun sets. Because walking is a style statement.
