adidas and nss edicola were key players at the Napoli City Half Marathon, the event that on Sunday, February 22 turned the city into the capital of running. A partnership that came together in the new T-shirt born from the collaboration between adidas and J’Adore Napoli. A piece that goes beyond technical sportswear to become a statement of identity. Designed to support performance while expressing a sense of belonging, the shirt blends sports innovation with urban aesthetics, celebrating the energy of Naples, its icons, and the passion for running. Worn with pride by the communities in attendance, it became the visual symbol of a weekend in which sport, style, and local identity moved in the same direction.
From Friday to Sunday, adidas took over the nss edicola in Piazza San Pasquale, transforming it into a hub dedicated to the running community. The weekend began with a Shake-Out Run involving the city's running communities, including Lace Napoli, Heart Run Club and Sub Runner Society, as well as the adidas Runners from Milan and Rome. They came together for a shared run, embracing the spirit of inclusivity and connection that would characterise the half marathon. This event served as a warm-up and strengthened the sense of belonging among the participants, thanks in part to the opportunity to try on shoes and select the pair that best suited their needs. This was followed by a DJ set from Kiara Annunziata and Matteo Romano, as well as a food corner curated by La Masardona, which completed the experience. The event continued until Sunday, offering support to runners and featuring the exclusive sale of the J'Adore x adidas jersey.
Finally, Sunday marked the Napoli City Half Marathon: a race held in a one-of-a-kind setting, between the seafront and the Gulf, offering participants an experience that went far beyond athletic competition. Thousands of runners crossed the city on a day filled with enthusiasm, passion, and community spirit, turning the race into a true collective celebration. What made the atmosphere even more vibrant was once again the presence of adidas, leading an engaging cheering point at Rotonda Diaz, with the support of nss edicola.
