Athens Kallithea screened a film at its stadium For a Few Dollars More, by Ennio Morricone

Athens Kallithea and the 15th Athens Open Air Film Festival, supported by ΔΕΗ, hosted last night a public screening for the 60th anniversary of the iconic western film For a Few Dollars More (1965) — whose Greek title is Duel in El Paso, which inspired the nickname "El Paso" of the Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium in Kallithea — directed by Sergio Leone, with a score by Ennio Morricone and starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Gian Maria Volonté, with an audience of nearly 1,000 people watching the film from the pitch.

Since its opening in 1970, the Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium has commonly been called "El Paso" due to the tall rock running along the north side of the pitch, thought to resemble the film’s depiction of El Paso, Texas. For a Few Dollars More is the second installment of the Dollars Trilogy, which concluded the following year with The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Athens Kallithea FC and the Athens Open Air Film Festival are already planning to return with a screening for the 60th anniversary of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly for the 2026 edition of the festival.
