
Lucy Bronze stars in ALIGNE’s new collection The Chelsea and England footballer brings her creativity into play
Chelsea and England footballer Lucy Bronze enters into a one-year partnership with ALIGNE. At the beginning of 2024, the brand's CEO Ginny Seymour set out to break down the gender inequalities that still persist at the intersection of sport and fashion. Already in 2024, for the SS24 collection, the brand and the footballer had collaborated together. Now, with the launch of the new collection and campaign, Lucy Bronze will take on a creative role, going beyond the mere function of being the face of the project. In September, ALIGNE and Lucy Bronze will launch the AW25 collection, consisting of 18 pieces, already anticipating the arrival of FW26.
Lucy Bronze stated: “From the very beginning, I wanted this collection to be accessible and meaningful for women, capable of creating a space open to everyone and excluding no one. Moreover, I wanted it to be built around the word ‘versatility,’ transforming ALIGNE into a brand that women can wear every day and on any occasion. For me, inclusivity in fashion does not mean that everyone should wear the same pieces, but that each person can truly feel good in what they wear.”
The ALIGNE project is an all-female initiative: on one side, CEO Ginny Seymour, on the other, footballer Lucy Bronze, at the center of the brand's communication, and finally Felicia Pennant, who offered her consultancy for this innovative project.
