With THE BRIDGE, adidas and Cisalfa Sport bring sport to Rome Where sport meets lifestyle

On September 12 and 13, Rome took on a new look thanks to Cisalfa Sport. For two days, the Italian capital became the setting for THE BRIDGE, a project created through the collaboration between Cisalfa Sport and adidas to bring football, training and lifestyle together through a series of activities designed for athletes, local communities and sports enthusiasts.

Almost 200 people took part across the two days, moving between tournaments, training sessions, new products and community moments. The format turned the city into an immersive environment. More than a simple product presentation, THE BRIDGE explored the way different sports and cultures increasingly overlap today.

The name of the project comes directly from this idea. Just as a bridge in music connects two different parts of a song, THE BRIDGE created a point of connection between different worlds, with movement as their common language. Football was the first to take shape.

On September 12, the pitch became a playground for a 2v2 tournament featuring special rules inspired by video games. Participants had the chance to test the new Predator and F50 from the Chaos vs Control Pack, while jerseys from some of the most iconic clubs associated with adidas turned the surrounding spaces into a visual archive of the brand's relationship with football.

The following day, the focus shifted to training. The launch of the new Originals Sport kicked off the day with pilates and boxing sessions, before making room for hybrid training classes and challenges. Speed, strength and endurance became part of the same programme, with the new adidas Adizero Dropset Pro used throughout the activities and designed to move seamlessly between strength training and high-intensity workouts.

Between activities, LA Trainer added a dimension rooted in the brand's history. One of adidas' most recognisable silhouettes took centre stage in a dedicated space featuring visual content and storytelling. It was a way of connecting the archive with the present, showing how some sneakers can shift context and meaning without losing their identity.

It is precisely in the overlap between these worlds that THE BRIDGE finds its meaning. Football meets training, product becomes part of the community and the retail space turns into something more than simply a place to shop. A transformation that also reflects the increasingly fluid relationship between performance and lifestyle: today, a sneaker can be created for sport and end up becoming part of everyday culture, just as a jersey can become an object of identity far beyond the pitch.

With THE BRIDGE, Cisalfa Sport and adidas created a space in Rome where these crossovers became tangible. The product remains at the centre, but movement is what holds the entire story together: from the two goals of the 2v2 tournament to the training sessions, and the communities that moved through the space over the two days.
