KidSuper and Ronaldinho are a dream duo The first collection is coming on November 8

A tracksuit with three-quarter pants, a football jersey, and even a long sleeve featuring the face of Ronaldinho. This is what the first collaboration between KidSuper and Dinho includes, a liaison that blossomed months ago and solidified in the following months, which has finally transformed into a collection ready to debut in the market on November 8, but only after being revealed on the runway in Paris.

It was on January 20, 2024, when the designer Colm Dillane, founder and creative director of the brand, presented the FW24 collection to the public during Paris Fashion Week, showcasing Ronaldinho before the astonished eyes of the front row. After all, among the protagonists of the fashion system who enjoy reinterpreting iconic items from the world of football, Colm Dillane is the one who has most legitimized this trend. Firstly, by bringing back to prominence a football legend like Ronaldinho, with whom he has established a relationship that, at least on the surface, seems to go far beyond mere economic and partnership aspects.

Secondly, Dillane, as a public figure, has never hidden his passion for playing football: just take a look at his Instagram profile to assess his skills with the ball at his feet. This is to say that, despite the connection between football and fashion having become the norm and designers often observing the sport "from the outside" and primarily from an aesthetic perspective, Dillane seems to truly understand football, both technically and aesthetically.

Among his various works, we can also recall when he designed the game jersey for Barnsley and when he created the kit for the Trapstar team for the one-off tournament held in Paris this summer, just a few days before the start of Paris Fashion Week. While the collection between KidSuper x Ronaldinho, which blends performance and nostalgic garments in a balanced way, such as the tracksuit and longsleeve that recalls the aesthetics of bootleg jerseys, goes back to the era of Joga Bonito and street football also celebrated in the latest collaboration between Nike and Corteiz.
