The jersey designed by KidSuper for Manchester City
As part of the collaboration with PUMA, it is set to debut at the Club World Cup

PUMA, KidSuper and Manchester City have released a new collection that includes a special edition jersey for the Club World Cup, scheduled for this summer in the United States. The iconic two-tone diagonal sash has been reimagined with a watercolor effect, set against a background of hand-painted graphics inspired by Manchester City fans’ Poznań celebration — the famous gesture where fans hug each other while turning their backs to the pitch. The jersey is a reinterpretation of a historic City design, which inevitably recalls the era of Kun Agüero and Mario Balotelli, although the club was then sponsored by Umbro.
Created in collaboration with American designer Colm Dillane, founder of the KidSuper brand, this jersey is part of the kit collection that PUMA-sponsored clubs will wear during the Club World Cup. In addition to the match kits, PUMA, KidSuper, and Manchester City have launched a wider fanwear collection, which includes a reversible jacket with matching track pants, a retro-style long-sleeve shirt, and a t-shirt available in blue and cream colorways. Colm Dillane stated: “Designing a kit for a club as iconic as Manchester City has been an amazing experience. I really wanted to push the design into a different space and give a fresh twist to a classic City look, using hand-painted graphics to create something that works well on the pitch but also looks great when paired with lifestyle and streetwear. The whole collection is a fusion of football, fashion, and art.”
Manchester City legend Shaun Wright-Phillips, who wore a similar sash kit during the 2009/10 season, commented: “It’s great to see this iconic Manchester City jersey make a comeback – it’s the perfect combination of a fan favorite design with a tribute to the Poznań celebration. I love what KidSuper has done with this shirt and the whole collection, and I can’t wait to see the team wear it soon in the United States.”
