Real Madrid will wear Louis Vuitton at the Club World Cup The ultimate confirmation that the fashion brand is in love with football

Starting this season, Real Madrid will be wearing Louis Vuitton. This partnership was officially announced between the world’s most famous football club and the French fashion brand, which has long been synonymous with luxury and elegance. Specifically, Louis Vuitton has signed a multi-year agreement to become the official partner of Real Madrid's men's, women's and basketball teams. This means the French brand will design and produce Formal Wear and Formal Travel Wear for the Merengues. The first collection was unveiled just before the team's departure for the United States to compete in the Club World Cup. The campaign features some of the team's top stars: Jude Bellingham, Vinicius and Kylian Mbappé.

The formal wear line was designed by the studio led by Creative Director Pharrell Williams and includes prêt-à-porter pieces, shoes, and accessories. The Louis Vuitton signature appears embossed, stitched on the jacket’s lapel and the back pockets of the trousers. The ready-to-wear collection, created exclusively to accompany Real Madrid on its international travels, features garments with bold lines and timeless style. Made from innovative and sophisticated materials, these pieces strike a subtle balance between comfort, performance, and elegance. The look is completed with a series of distinctive accessories, such as a leather belt with a palladium buckle, a blue embroidered cotton cap, and the ultra-soft LV Soft shoes.

This exclusive collection, not available for sale, underscores Louis Vuitton’s commitment to associating its name with the world of football. From a branding perspective, since 2023, LV trunks have been used to to hold the Ballon d’Or. From a production standpoint, in 2024, during a Paris Fashion Week runway show, a pair of football boots was unveiled, an early preview of the LV+VERS UNITED collection. From a business angle, the Arnault family is personally involved in the ownership of Paris FC, a Parisian club recently promoted to Ligue 1, which, in collaboration with Red Bull, aims to challenge the PSG’s dominant hold over the French capital and French football.
