From Marseille to Naples, cycling The ultra-distance cycling event that connects two of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean.
The Marseille Napoli returns, the ultra-distance cycling event linking Marseille and Naples. More than 1,400 kilometres to be covered either solo or in pairs, tackling over 15,000 metres of elevation gain within a single week. An extreme yet profoundly contemporary experience where performance, exploration and personal discovery merge into one compelling story. During its inaugural edition in 2025, the event welcomed 260 riders representing 10 different nationalities. These figures support the organisers' ambitious goal of creating a new European ultra-distance classic, showcasing the regions crossed along the route, strengthening ties between France and Italy, and promoting a culture of slow, sustainable and conscious mobility.
In recent years, endurance cycling has become much more than a sporting discipline. Bicycles have evolved into tools for exploration, while technical equipment has developed into a new aesthetic language capable of combining functionality and style. The Marseille Napoli perfectly embodies this evolution. The event is completely unsupported, allowing each participant the freedom to manage their own pace, stops and strategy. It is a philosophy that reflects the contemporary concept of luxury: having full control over one's own time and experiencing the journey according to personal rhythms.
The 2026 edition will start on September 27 from the forecourt of the Stade Vélodrome, home of Olympique de Marseille, following the official briefing held the previous day in the prestigious Salle Villeneuve Bargemon. On the opposite shore of the Mediterranean, riders will finish in Naples at Bicycle House, an operational hub open 24 hours a day for five consecutive days. Here, stories of endurance, determination and personal achievement will come to an end, while being tracked in real time through the Madcap GPS platform.
