F1 has arrived in Monte Carlo for the 2025 edition of the Monaco Grand Prix, the most glamorous stage of the entire calendar. As always, teams have decided to go big, presenting a series of products made exclusively for the occasion. Starting with the drivers' suits, as in the case of Ferrari with Charles Leclerc: in addition to designing the latest collection for the Ferrari Style brand, the Monegasque will wear a white suit with blue inserts completed by a small pattern of vertical blue bars at the height of the sleeves, which recalls the pattern used for the cap that Leclerc will wear in all media activities.

As happened in 2024 with the tribute to Ayrton Senna, this year McLaren has also prepared something special. Specifically, both drivers will wear white suits produced by Alpine Stars with a design aimed at recalling a vintage aesthetic and the editions of the Monaco Grand Prix from the 1960s. A special livery for the car has also been presented as a tribute to the 1968 M7A, the car with which McLaren achieved its first victory in F1: once again, the keyword is vintage, as the official numbers of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are depicted in black inside a white circle, an aesthetic borrowed from the first racing cars. The same aesthetic scheme has also been used by Piastri to personalize his helmet.

And speaking of tributes to Ayrton Senna, winner of six editions of the Monaco Grand Prix, Racing Bulls driver Isack Hadjar will wear a helmet that reproduces the pattern of the one worn by the Brazilian driver throughout his career. But the initiatives of the F1 teams do not stop only on the track, as some have taken advantage of the Monte Carlo event to launch special capsule collections. For example, Aston Martin has officially announced a collaboration with Santan Cup, the Baller League's team, which has led to the creation of a limited edition jersey and a football adorned with the official colors of the British team. But as seen with McLaren, Monte Carlo also pays tribute to nostalgia and Williams has also taken this path by creating a capsule collection, including a t-shirt and cap, dedicated to the 1983 FW08C, the car with which Keke Rosberg won the race in 1983 along the streets of the Principality.

A series of initiatives that confirm how F1 and all the brands that revolve around it want to take full advantage of the media exposure provided by the Monaco Grand Prix. The show on the track is minimal, with overtaking practically impossible due to the guardrails that prevent major maneuvers and essentially limited to the tension felt at the thought of a possible accident. Every year, there is debate about whether or not it is convenient to keep this city circuit on the calendar, and in the end the answer is always yes. Because there are no comparisons. Monaco will always be synonymous with luxury and elegance, and that is why F1 can become fashion here.
