The new Art Posters for Milano Cortina 2026 With the Winter Olympic Games approaching, there's also space for art

The Art Posters of Milano Cortina 2026 were presented yesterday at Triennale Milano. They were created by ten Italian artists under the age of 40, invited to offer their creative interpretation of the Olympic Games. The result is a collection of posters that reflects the vitality of the contemporary Italian art scene and the spirit of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games. The five Olympic Art Posters were designed by Beatrice Alici, Martina Cassatella, Giorgia Garzilli, Maddalena Tesser, Flaminia Veronesi and originate from the creativity of Roberto de Pinto, Andrea Fontanari, Aronne Pleuteri, Clara Woods, Giulia Mangoni. The Art Posters represent one of the most significant expressions of the cultural legacy of the Games since the early 20th century. They have accompanied the Olympic editions, telling their story through the contemporary gaze of artists. From Robert Rauschenberg to Andy Warhol, from David Hockney to Eduardo Chillida, the history of Art Posters is also the history of the dialogue between art and sport, between creative freedom and universal values.

More about the Olympic Games’ Art Posters

Unlike the Iconic Posters—the official posters of the Games, which will also be unveiled at Triennale Milano in autumn 2025—Art Posters are original artworks in poster form, created by selected artists with the aim of freely expressing the spirit of Olympic and Paralympic values. The project was curated by Damiano Gullì, curator for contemporary art and public program at Triennale. The selection was made in continuity with Triennale’s ongoing commitment to promoting and enhancing the Italian art scene, particularly through its work on Italian painting, the outcomes of which were presented in the exhibition Italian Painting Today organized in 2023.

From June 19, 2025, to March 15, 2026, the original artworks will be on display at Triennale in the newly renovated Park Level galleries, alongside the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Torches, which were unveiled at Triennale this past April.
