Oakley’s legacy in sport and its relentless drive for innovation are part of the brand’s DNA and continue to leave a mark on snow. At Milano Cortina 2026, for the first time in its history, Oakley becomes the official apparel sponsor of the national freestyle snowboard federations of Canada and Finland, while also supporting New Zealand freestyle ski athletes with bespoke competition garments. Backed by decades of experience gained in extreme environments, Oakley snow apparel combines cutting-edge design and technical precision to deliver maximum resistance to the elements and enhance athletic performance. Designed for Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and Big Air, the pieces promote maximum freedom of movement and reflect the energy of contemporary snow culture.

“I’m thrilled about the collaboration between Oakley and Canada Snowboard for our Olympic outerwear,” said Team Oakley athlete Cameron Spalding. “Oakley has been home for me for many years, and I know the apparel will deliver top-level performance. The design and colorways create a clean kit, and the fit is exactly what we look for as snowboarders—they’ve nailed it.” Oakley outerwear for Canada Snowboard expresses speed, precision, and national identity through bold constructions, dynamic graphics, and a nod to tradition. The reimagined Canadian maple leaf evokes speed and national pride, while motion lines on the sleeves amplify the sense of forward momentum. “Snow has always been my element, and Oakley has been by my side at every stage of the journey,” said Team Oakley athlete Rene Rinnekangas. “Every piece is designed with maximum performance in mind and allows me to push my limits in the mountains. Being part of Oakley’s first-ever national team sponsorship makes this moment even more special.”

Oakley also supports athletes and staff of Finland Snowboard with the Aura collection, a high-performance system of outerwear and accessories designed for disciplines such as Snowboard Freestyle, Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and Big Air. The line features the BALDFACE Shell Jacket, the WINTERTIDE Softshell Hoodie, and the CHANNEL Cargo Pant, showcasing Oakley’s iconic Ellipse pattern reinterpreted through accelerating lines that evoke speed, energy, and movement. Each piece integrates Finland-specific custom details, blending national identity with performance-driven technical features, including waterproofing, breathability, and functionality tailored for freestyle riding on snow. The collection also includes gloves, a beanie, socks, and a neck warmer, all designed to complete the apparel line with a cohesive and dynamic color scheme inspired by athletes in action. The Aura kit will also be worn in competition by select freestyle athletes from the brand.

For New Zealand, Oakley has designed exclusive high-performance outerwear for Freestyle Ski, with the goal of ensuring precision and confidence in every movement. Black-and-white graphics project national identity into a dynamic dimension, while the distinctive Ellipse pattern energizes every line and profile. The clean-cut pants feature a dynamic silver fern that enhances freedom of movement, while the reinterpreted cargo pocket combines practicality with a fresh vision of sports design. “It’s truly special for me and for New Zealand Freestyle Ski to collaborate with Oakley on competition apparel ahead of the Winter Olympics,” said Team Oakley athlete Luca Harrington. “When it comes to quality, Oakley has no rivals. And when it comes to style and trends, Oakley never disappoints. Freestyle skiing is all about style and quality, so it’s a pleasure to work with a company whose values align with ours.”
