It's not just tuxedos: the best looks from the 2025 Ballon d'Or Which brands graced the red carpet?
Football became tailored for the Ballon d'Or ceremony held yesterday night in Paris. The most glamorous event of the season, the moment when boots and kits give way to elegant clothes signed by the world's top brands. For one night players stop being athletes to transform into fashion icons. Tuxedos and long dark-toned dresses dominated, but that didn't prevent some alternative outfits from appearing.
Zegna - Ousmane Dembelé
Ousmane Dembelé unveiled his look signed by ZEGNA just hours before the awards. A custom-made tuxedo composed of a black silk and wool blazer with shawl satin lapels, matching wide trousers, and an ivory high-neck silk shirt, completed by evening leather loafers. An outfit of great refinement, signed by the Italian brand.
Marta Martì - Aitana Bonmati
In an evening dominated by black and dark tones, one of the few notes of color was represented by the outfit worn by Aitana Bonamti: the Barcelona Spanish footballer, winner of the third consecutive Women's Ballon d'Or, she wore a red-palette dress by Marta Martì. It is a Catalan brand specialised for creating wedding dresses.
Armani - Kenan Yildiz e Cristiana Girelli
Armani was also present on the Paris red carpet thanks to the partnership with Juventus. Specifically, a tuxedo with a diamond bow tie for Kenan Yildiz and a two-piece suit for Cristiana Girelli embellished with earrings that echo the Armani logo.
Boss - Joao Neves
Joao Neves did not deviate from the evening's unofficial dress code, and for this reason the PSG midfielder showed up in a classic black tuxedo signed by BOSS accompanied by an elegant white shirt with small black buttons and a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.
Dolce&Gabbana
Dolce&Gabbana clearly played the leading role that night. Raphinha, Denzel Dumfries and Gianluigi Donnarumma wore similar suits — a classic tuxedo with a white shirt paired with black jacket and trousers — while Lamine Yamal opted for a total black look. (Photos, courtesy of DG).
KaaaKollection - Serhou Guirassy
Due to his 21st position in the final ranking, Serhou Guirassy's presence in Paris went largely unnoticed. Yet the Borussia Dortmund striker sported one of the most surprising outfits: a bespoke suit signed by KaaaKollection, a French brand characterized by an African heritage.
